The Malagasy tax administration has confirmed the rollout of the Integrated Tax Administration System (SAFI), following the steering committee held on September 18, 2025, at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

After several months of technical and functional testing, the SAFI platform is now ready to carry out its first operations.
Starting at the end of September, existing tax services will gradually transition to this new system.

🎯 SAFI Objectives:

• Modernize and secure tax administration,
  
• Simplify administrative procedures,
  
• Facilitate online filing and monitoring,
  
• Provide a range of suitable payment solutions.
  

The last quarter of 2025 will be dedicated to enriching the system: VAT refunds, online exemptions, automated management of financial statements, and much more.
A support system is also planned to ensure a smooth transition for all economic actors.

💡 This reform marks an important step towards a digitized, transparent, and accessible tax system in Madagascar.
